After the amazing video produced for his track ‘Iron’, Woodkid could have done it again with ‘Run boy run’, and he did try, but he failed lamentably.
What was intended to be a new visual masterpiece by the french musician & filmmaker Yoann Lemoine, who also directed videos for Lana Del Rey, is the QED that he should stick to directing and dig a little deeper in order not to bore his audience.
Because that’s what it is: a boring video designed after a tedious song which seems to be a never-ending repetition of a hook with an insipid finish… Not to mention the everlasting struggle of the singer to contain his French accent.
Conclusion? ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzz -
I love the way French paparazzi are yelling Lana Del Rey with that very strong ‘R’: Lana Del [ʀɛ]!!

You can keep on hating, but the girl keeps on achieving and doing her thing while you’re bashing.

Lana Del Rey - Carmen video

Lana Del Rey teased her fans for a couple of hours before leaking a home-made video for Carmen that will definitely satisfy the ones that were longing for and missing the first Lana Del Rey’s pot-pourri videos that appeared on YouTube a little less than one year ago.
Ok, it’s no big surprise since we’ve known the next video would be for Carmen for about one month now, but those missing the old Lana’s style can rejoice, she’s still there, and that’s the real big surprise!

So Lana Del Rey’s next single/video will be ‘Carmen’? I’d have preferred ‘National Anthem‘…

Lana Del Rey - Blue Jeans video
As I told yesterday, I was expecting the new video from Lana Del Rey but I didn’t think it would leak that fast.
I don’t know if it’s the final version in terms of quality (the intro and some part look cheesy) neither in terms of editing, butEDIT: After a poorer quality version has been leaked sooner today, the official video is now on youtube/VEVO and what you can watch above isalreadyquite awesome. Great light, amazing photography, dark and almost erotic story, what looks like to be a Los Angeles backyard, some crocodile for an extended metaphor, and of course Bradley Soileau + Lana Del Rey (you always stick with a winning formula). Enjoy! -
Blue Jeans release due on April 8th and “video coming soon” according to Lana Del Rey’s Twitter.
-
Yeah. That’s my Twitter account, i.e you can hate me now.
