While everybody is patiently waiting for the launch later today of The Throne (Kanye + Jay-z)’s new video for ‘No church in the wild’ as announced by Romain Gavras on his Twitter, I’m enjoying the most lyrical “coke” rapper’s latest video, i.e ‘Exodus 23:1’ by Pusha T!
As far as the Young Money Cash Money Brothers (mostly Drake and Lil Wayne) beef is concerned, I’m down with the Re-Up Gang artist, first because Pusha T is one of my favorite lyricist in the game, second because hey, let’s be frank, Drake ain’t a rapper. -

Earlier today The Vaccines let BBC Radio One’s host Zane Lowe unleash their new song called ‘No Hope’.
It’s the first song leaked from their new album that should be released on September 3rd 2012 and that will be entitled “Come Of Age”.
If the album is as good as the song we can already rejoice. -
It may not be the soundtrack to my life, but it’s definitely the perfect soundtrack to my monday (pos-Rio Fashion Week).
“I’ve got some issues that nobody can see
And all of these emotions are pouring out of me” -
One more cool video in Blood Orange’s videography!

That NaS’ cover for Complex’s June/July issue is so early 90s.
Please bring it back Nasir with your 10th studio album! -
After the amazing video produced for his track ‘Iron’, Woodkid could have done it again with ‘Run boy run’, and he did try, but he failed lamentably.
What was intended to be a new visual masterpiece by the french musician & filmmaker Yoann Lemoine, who also directed videos for Lana Del Rey, is the QED that he should stick to directing and dig a little deeper in order not to bore his audience.
Because that’s what it is: a boring video designed after a tedious song which seems to be a never-ending repetition of a hook with an insipid finish… Not to mention the everlasting struggle of the singer to contain his French accent.
Conclusion? ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzz -

I guess it’s fair to say they’re the next big thing (…from Brighton at last)

Future Islands’ “On the Water” - Most slept on album of 2011?
Future Islands are a synthpop band even if they describe themselves on their Twitter profile as “too noisy for new wave, too pussy for punk”.
Formed in 2006 and based in Baltimore, they’ve already recorded three albums, but I must confess I only know their third, “On the Water”, which is a gem that has been released in the autumn of 2011.
Don’t sleep on it!

Remember the chorus “baby, baby, baby” that couldn’t get outta your head?
“tchiki, tchiki, tchiki” won’t neither, it may stick even more, and the video is twice as cool!
Loved it! Thanks Make The Girl Dance -
“Lean on me” and my “Kilo” for “Nightmusic”
Today was a good day for music with the launch of videos for 3 great songs.
Para One f. Teki Latex, “Lean On Me”
Para One, who first get known for being the fourth musketeers producing beats for French rap trio TTC, is now teaming with Teki Latex (here giving a autotuned vocal assist) to drop some feel-good smooth electrofunk track.
Detail: the video has been shot by the man himself. My props and can’t wait for Para One’s album “Passion” to hit shelves and iTunes store in June.
Grimes, “Nightmusic”I was expecting something for ‘Genesis’ (even if there’s already one in a way) or for ‘Eight’, but the second video from the album “Visions” is dedicated to ‘Nightmusic’ and directed by John Londono for a very artsy aesthetic, just the way Claire Boucher likes when she’s the director.
Bonde do Rolê, “Kilo”In France Bonde do Rolê got famous for being the jingle introducing the weather forecasts on French channel Canal +. It may seem awkward, but when you know the importance of the TV program, you understand it’s no joke.
And I can remember singing and sweating at We love Fantasy in september 2007 when the band first played in Paris. And sweating and singing again, but this time as one of their VIP at Social Club in 2008.
But their debut album “With Lasers” is a long way behind us now and they’re finally doing a come back with their second album “Tropicalbacanal”, still produced by Diplo, out everywhere June 26 and whose tracklist is massive:
1. Arrastao
2. Kilo
3. Brazilian Boys (feat. Cecile)
4. Dança Especial (feat. Rizzle Kicks)
5. Puco
6. Bang (feat. Das Racist)
7. Picole
8. Baby Don’t Deny It (feat. Caetano Veloso and Poolside)
9. Kanye
10. Banana Woman
11. Tilelê
12. Baile Punk (feat. The Death Set)
As they say in their release:Not many people know what Bonde are singing about, but everyone keeps singing along; they’re the third world Black Eyed Peas.
And with Das Racist joining the featuring list, be sure I’ll cope that album!

Lots of Alexander Wang, Martin Margiela golden sneakers (pretty obvious when the lyrics say “My Martin was a Maison, rocked Margiela with no laces”), Pigalle clothing, Pigalle neighborhood, blunts, Paris, Paris, Paris and more Paris in that video for the banger ‘Goldie’ by A$AP Rocky, first single off of his much-anticipated freshman album ‘Long.Live.A$AP’.
Oh! And don’t miss the making of the video in which A$AP Rocky has a Skype chat with Alexander Wang talking about styling. I also loved the implicit competition with Kanye West when Rocky says “I’m the flyest motherfucker you know. I DO NOT have a stylist” -
