Still wanna watch Belle du Seigneur ( hitting French cinema’s on June, 5th)
-
WSJ Magazine June 2013 cover: Natalia Vodianova by Alasdair McLellan.
There can’t and won’t be a better cover in June.
Take it for granted. -
Natalia: as I said before, my all time favorite right after Christy.
-

That picture of Natalia Vodianova brings to the table a question I’ve always asked to myself: how can you like someone (no matter how pretty he/she is) if you hate the way he/she dresses?
I mean, Natalia is wonderful, but that Diesel jacket (and anything Diesel) is despicable, don’t you think? To me bad-dressed is a repeller. -
I said on Twitter Jessica Chastain would have been a better elf/Galadriel than Cate Blanchett. And what about Natalia Vodianova? (pictures from Vertical Water fashion editorial, shot by Karl Lagerfeld for Numéro 43, May 2003)
Anyway, can’t wait to watch The Hobbit! -
I’m usually not into that kind of movie, maybe it’s the Natalia Vodianova factor, but I wanna see Belle Du Seigneur.
-
Fashion classic despite the nudes.
“Call of the Wild” editorial photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, starring Natalia Vodianova, for W, August 2006 issue. -
Natalia Vodianova.
To paraphrase Lil’ Wayne: “best model alive since the best model retired”.
Simply my favorite right after Christy Turlington. -
Knee high boots are trendy, or at least that what campaigns and fashion editorials want us to believe. But they also seem to teach us the prerequisite is to pair them with very little (nothing) else.
On one hand you’ve got Natalia Vodianova for Stuart Weitzman’s fall 2012 campaign shot by Mario Testino with the Russian supermodel doing what she knows to do best: sensual pouting.
On the other hand, you’ve got Miranda Kerr’s Australian booty in Harper’s Bazaar US September issue, shot by the expert of sexually charged editorials: Terry Richardson. -
I close my eyes in order to see.
Natalia Vodianova shot by Steven Klein for the spectator issue of i-D magazine, May 2002. -
Stella McCartney F/W 2012/13 campaign starring Natalia Vodianova shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott.
Ok, I know I’m posting a lot of ad campaigns recently, but we can’t forget that in Northern hemisphere it’s summer and that September = back to school = new fashion ad campaign season. -
Наталья Водянова aka Natalia Vodianova will be on every Russian magazine in July!
Harper’s Bazaar and GQ at least, and this after a Vogue cover for June issue. What else? -
Euro 2012 is coming…and Natalia Vodianova helps us remember Russia will be part of it
As any soccer fans know, Euro 2012, the 14th European Championship for national football teams organised by UEFA, will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012.

If you’re not a soccer fan, you may have heard of it because of the prostitution scandals in Ukraine or just because it’s the biggest and latest sport event right before the Olympic games. The funny part is that as a European, a French to be exact, I’ve never ever considered Russia as part of Europe. In terms of geography, politics and economics, we learn at school Russia doesn’t belong to it. So in my mind, as well as in many people’s one, Russia is a big country between Europe and Asia, and it has always sounded strange to me too see Poutine’s land treated as part of Europe as far as sport is concerned.

But Russia is homeland of my favorite 2000s model, aka Natalia Vodianova, and last week she organized with her Naked Heart Foundation a charity football match versus the team of Russian Government, captain of which was deputy Prime Minister of Russia Arkady Dvorkovitch.

On that purpose she was on set everyday of the week until Friday, doing training sessions in a studio wearing her collection for…
NikeEtam.

I guess soccer fans would consider it a great warm up for Euro 2012. So let’s forget the feud… or even better: let’s support Russia in its first game against Czech Republic on Friday (sorry Franck, I love Praga, but…)
